A world leader in electronics packaging, design and fabrication, Schroff, which changed its name to Pentair and then to nVent, was founded in Germany in 1962 by Gunther Schroff, one of the pioneers of 19” technology. Based in Hemel Hempstead since the 1980’s the company offers a range of high-quality products, including 19" cabinets, subracks, cases, backplanes, motherboards, and microcomputer systems. The subrack system for euro boards "Europac" entered the global market when the European board format standard was adopted by Japan and the USA. In 1994 Schroff became part of Pentair Technical Products, a global business unit of Pentair Inc.

nVent - Cabinets & Electronics Packaging

At the beginning of June 2010 nVent was looking for a local company to provide a continuous high level of service and quality for their transportation services in order to meet their customers’ demands.

Furnells took over this transportation requirement nationwide, which involves the movement of various palletised products and cabinets.

It was a leap of faith for nVent to change from their previous provider, but one we feel has been mutually beneficial to both companies - and Furnells continue to ensure their product is delivered on time and, more importantly, without damage.
