Festive food getting us in the mood for Christmas

Food is always a big part of Christmas and we have had several jobs this year providing products to the food industry.

Pizza Equipment

Over the year we have delivered a number of pizza ovens for Pizza Equipment based in Harrow. These ovens are very large and heavy and have required very careful positioning in some very tight delivery points.

For one particular job we needed our stair-climbers and a 4 man team to safely move an oven up some external stairs and through a single doorway.

Delivery of equipment for Exhibitions is a particular specialism for us and we were able to assist the company with storage and delivery for the European Pizza & Pasta Show at Olympia in June (below).

All this talk of pizzas could mean it’s time to look up recipes for Christmas pizzas to help use up any leftovers this year.

Metcalfe Mixer for The Cookie Mill

For Metcalfe Catering we collected and delivered a huge 60 litre mixing bowl weighing over 200kg. This was supplied to The Cookie Mill in Tring who deliver premium deep dish cookies straight to your door.

A box of their delicious biscuits would definitely be a welcome delivery for the Christmas period and we’re always happy to try out any new recipes.

Bizerba

We have also continued making deliveries for Bizerba, a market-leading provider for weighing and cutting technology in the retail and trade industries.

Along with other products for the food industry, we have been delivering some of their commercial meat slicers including the A650 slicer which is 6ft high and 500kg weight.
