FFEI have been a customer of ours for many years, historically in the guise of Crosfield Electronics, providing electronic imaging systems before being taken over by Fujifilm and renamed Fujifilm Electronic Imaging (FFEI Ltd).

They recently asked us to move a specialist 4.7 tonne granite block table within their production and research area so they could install other imaging equipment for testing and research. Although extremely heavy it thankfully only needed to be moved a mere 75cm!

A 5tonne SWL mobile gantry was needed to deal with the weight of the block within the confines of a clean area.  Using a couple of pallets trucks and 3 strong men (well, two strong men and me!) we were able to set-up the gantry and move the block safely and to the satisfaction of our customer – always a good job done in our eyes.
