We have recently received a new Luton box van to replace one of our older vehicles that is ready to bow out of use. 

Making light work of deliveries

Our Luton box vans are the work horses of the fleet, making light work of the many and various deliveries they need to make around the UK and can be relied upon to deliver various different consignments on one delivery run.

Our new vehicle is a Renault Master LL35 dci Luton box tail-lift van with a 4.5 metre internal length body, a 950kg payload  and a 500kg tail-lift capacity and will be our new Number 10.

We worked again with Trucksmith who have provided us with previous vans in the past. They are a family company operating since 1985 and have worked hard with Renault to improve the design over the years. Their new Master Platform Cab is a high-volume, low-floored vehicle which aids the rear aperture height, creating a 2.44m-2.55m gap for equipment to be loaded, which is higher than some of the 18 tonners.

The van arrived at the end of last week and has been put to work already. With jobs for our customers Alcon and Eltek (as well as others) it has already been to Epping, Cambridge, Bromley, Wymondham and Welwyn Garden City and is soon off to Shrewsbury, Blackburn and Bromsgrove before heading to Eastleigh and then up to Aberdeen in Scotland!
