ISO 9001 is a globally recognized standard for quality management helping organisations to continually monitor and improve quality control processes. This helps to ensure we are responding and adapting to our customers to ensure satisfaction. By updating and reviewing our quality management systems we can provide the best service possible and efficient running of the business.

ISO 14001

ISO 4001 is our company commitment to ongoing environmental improvement wherever possible across all areas of the business as well as compliance with relevant legal requirements.

ISO 45001

The ISO 45001 provides a framework for occupational health and safety within the company. It helps us consider our practices in relation to risk, compliance, emergency planning, legal and regulatory compliance, hazard identification, incident investigation within the workplace environment as well as our customer sites. This all helps to ensure organisational resilience and the safety of staff, customers and 3^rd parties.

ADR regulations

Our driving team are qualified under ADR regulations in classes 2,3,4,5,6,7,8 and 9 to ensure compliance with current regulations and legislation governing the Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road.

Office for Nuclear Regulation (ONR)

We are regulated by the Office for Nuclear Regulation (ONR) and our last inspection in October 23 gave us a green rating across all areas of compliance for the transport of nuclear waste.

We have also been part of the Nuclear Waste Services framework Agreement since April 2015.

DGSA and RPS

We have our own ‘in-house’ Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor (DGSA), fully accredited since 1999, to manage risk and monitor compliance with the legal requirements governing the carriage of dangerous goods.

We also have our own qualified ‘in-house’ Radiation Protection Supervisor (RPS), supported by an external Radiation Protection Advisor at Aurora. These roles ensure we are monitoring and  limiting radioactive exposure to our drivers and to the public.

Cyber Essentials Certification

We hold a Cyber Essentials certification which is updated yearly and ensures that the company is:

• Cyber secure in its network interfaces with the outside world.
• Protecting customer data.
• Using up to date equipment with current updates and security patches installed.
• Reducing any likelihood of communicating viruses or having systems compromised or hijacked.
• Ensuring system resilience so that we can be available and operational when you need us.
