The Autumn months are our ‘exhibition season’ and we can often find ourselves being very busy delivering and collecting at various exhibition sites across the UK.
Enabling Exhibitions
We were kept on our toes recently with an order for our customer Alcon, with deliveries and collections of their eye laser equipment at the ExCel Centre in London for the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS).
Given the amount of equipment required for the show, we had two 18 tonne lorries allocated and booked for the job. Our drivers were also on hand to transport and position equipment to and from the exhibition stand site.
Once the original order had been placed the needs of the job started to multiply which made things a little more interesting.
An additional Luton box van was needed to take additional consumables down to the ExCeL while further trips were needed to transfer equipment from the exhibition to various different sites across London. Thanks to our driver Callum who made a special delivery on a Saturday morning followed by a 10pm collection the same day, to ensure a piece of equipment was safely brought back to our warehouses in Hemel.
We work hard to be as adaptable as possible, going the extra mile to ensure customer needs are met as fully as possible and we couldn’t do this without our amazing (and extremely flexible) team. Together we make the seemingly impossible possible.
