As you can imagine, the nuclear industry is very highly regulated and we have had a recent inspection and audit by the ONR (Office for Nuclear Regulation) who oversee the safe transport of nuclear and radioactive materials across the UK.

We were pleased to pass the inspection process again with flying colours and were given the top rating of green for ‘good’ across all areas. These included having a safe and regularly tested radiation risk assessment, contingency plan and emergency plan as well as good training for all our Class 7 drivers.

These ratings continue to show we’re operating within regulatory and legislative guidelines to ensure consignments of this nature are transported correctly and efficiently, giving reassurance to our customer base in this industry.
